 | What is the age range for applicants? |
| Applicants must be between 20-30 years of age to be considered for any position. |
 | What are the minimum education qualifications that you are looking for? |
| Generally speaking, all Flight Attendant applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent as the minimum education requirement. |
 | Does Gulf Air require Flight Attendants to have previous airline experience? |
| No, definitely not. Naturally, any airline experience is beneficial although this is not a pre-requisite for the job. You are not required to have previous industry experience as Gulf Air will provide all the necessary training to become a fully fledged Flight Attendant. |
 | If I previously applied for a Flight Attendant position and I wasn’t successful, can I re-apply for the same position? |
| Yes, you can. Your application is active in our database for six months, so you may only re-apply for the same position after six months from your first application. |
 | How many kilogrammes of baggage am I entitled to bring with me? |
| Initially you are entitled to bring 70 kilogrammes of baggage with you on Gulf Air. If it is not used at this time, or if partially used, the balance will remain as your entitlement for the first six months of employment. Thus, giving you the opportunity to relocate your belongings as and when required. |
 | What will happen upon my arrival? |
| Upon your arrival at the airport, a Welfare Officer from our Flight Attendant department will meet with you and brief you on the induction process. From there you will be escorted to your guest accommodation to unpack and familiarise yourself with your new surroundings. |
 | Where will I be staying? |
| During your training period you will stay in a shared guest house while the company arranges permanent accommodation where you will stay upon completion of the training course. |
 | After my training period what kind of accommodation will I have? |
| Gulf Air provides fully furnished accommodation to share with one or two of your colleagues. All apartment buildings are located within the city centre and are reasonably close to the airport for your convenience. |
 | How long is my training course and what does it involve? |
| Your training course will be conducted over an eight week period and is divided into two main categories i.e. Cabin Crew Services and Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP). |
